Appointed permanent Judge, Gujarat High Court from 19-7-1979. Transferred to Orissa High Court on 14.12.93. Appointed as Chief Justice of Orissa High Court with effect from 31-1-94. Transferred as Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court from 28-9-94. Appointed as Judge of the Supreme Court of India with effect from 6-3-95. Retired on 16-2-2000.
