Hon'ble Mr.Justice M.Rama Jois: Born on 27-07-1931. Educated at Central College, Bangalore and Government Law College, Bangalore. Enrolled as an Advocate in 1959 and was in the chambers of Shri.S.K.Venkataranga Iyengar. Appointed Judge of the High Court of Karnataka on 28-11-1977. Was Acting Chief Justice on several occasions. Appointed Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court on 03-05-1992. Demitted office on 31-08-1992. Later was Governor of Jharkhand and Bihar. Has authored several books on legal and other subjects. Is practising as a Senior Advocate in the Supreme Court.
