Hon'ble Mr.Justice K. Jagannatha Shetty: Born on 15-12-1926. After graduation from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore, obtained Law Degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Enrolled as a Vakil on 14-07-1945 ans as an Advocate on 16-08-1955. Shifted to Bangalore in 1956. Appointed Additional Judge of the High Court of Karnataka on 25-06-1970 and permanent Judge on 10-02-1971. Was Acting Chief Justice for from 24-10-1985 to 27-08-1986. Appointed Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court in October 1986. Elevated as a Judge of the Supreme Court on 01-05-1987. After retirement was Chairman, First National Judiciary Pay Commission.
