Hon'ble Mr.Justice N.Y.Hanumanthappa: Born on
25-09-1939. Educated at Chithradurga, Bellary and
S.J.R.C. Law College, Bangalore. Enrolled as an
Advocate on 27-10-1967. Was a Member and Vice
Chairman of the Karnataka State Bar Council. Was
Government Pleader & Government Advocate in the High
Court. Appointed Judge of the Karnataka High Court on
29-03-1990. Transferred as Judge of the Andhra Pradesh
High Court on 28.04.1994. Later appointed Chief Justice
of the Orissa High Court on 17.02.2001. Has always
been active in public life. Is now a Member of Lok Sabha.
